What is the monthly running cost of film underfloor heating?

How much will I pay for usage of film underfloor heating system? This is the first question you may ask when choosing heating system for your home. In this article you will find an answer, because we have compared two heating systems – DAEWOO ENERPIA infrared film underfloor heating system and heating with an inverter air conditioner. You should take into account the following factors, which can influence the result:
  • Room size;
  • Room insulation;
  • Floor cover;
  • Indoor and outdoor temperature etc.
We had two similar rooms with the same insulation on the same floor in one building with size 30.6 sqm and with the same other conditions. During 6 days 1 room was heated with an infrared film underfloor heating system DAEWOO ENERPIA.

And the other – with inverter air conditioner Daikin. The experiment was held without usage of other heating systems. Starting temperature was 14°С Thermostat and air conditioner were adjusted to the temperature of 22 °С Average night temperature – 0-3 °С, Average day temperature – 5-8 °С Here we see the results:
